Yes, we accept equipment sent from anywhere in Portugal or the world. After initial contact, we provide packing instructions to ensure the equipment arrives safely. Once repaired, we return the equipment using the same method.
The timeframe depends on the complexity of the fault and the availability of components. On average, repairs are completed within 5 to 15 business days. Equipment with more complex issues or requiring special parts may take slightly longer—we always inform the customer of the expected timeframe.
Yes, all repairs come with a 60-day warranty. If the same issue recurs during that period, we will repair it at no additional cost. This warranty applies to the specific fault that was repaired and does not cover damage caused by misuse or new issues.
You can request a quote via the form on our website, by email at info@retrorepair.pt, or by phone. Once we receive the equipment or a detailed description of the fault, we provide a no-obligation quote before starting any work.
Yes, we work with all brands of electronic equipment—ranging from vintage audio (Marantz, Pioneer, Technics, Akai, Sony, among others) to computers, home appliances, industrial equipment, and game consoles. If you have questions about a specific piece of equipment, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The diagnosis is free of charge, provided the quote is accepted and the repair proceeds. If you do not accept the quoted price, a bench fee will apply and must be paid before the equipment is returned. Shipping costs are not included in this fee and will be added to the final total.
If, following the diagnosis, we determine that the equipment cannot be viably repaired (or that the cost is not justified), we immediately inform the customer and return the equipment, charging the bench fee corresponding to the work performed and any applicable shipping costs. Transparency and honesty are core values for us.
